Former PANDEMONIUM Singer Dead At 48
September 11, 2007Chris Resch, former lead singer for the California metal band PANDEMONIUM — which released three albums on the Metal Blade label in the 1980s — died on August 24, 2007 at his home in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was 48 years old.
According to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, Resch, 48, who did painting and drywall work in recent years, pursued dreams of a music career in the early 1980s with his brothers David and Eric. The Resch brothers had grown up around music in Fairbanks, where their parents — Dorothy Resch and the late Dave Resch — owned the Upper Limits club on Second Avenue.
They formed PANDEMONIUM and played in many clubs and concerts in the Los Angeles area for a decade, releasing three albums over the years: 1983's "Heavy Metal Soldiers", 1985's "Hole in the Sky" and 1988's "The Kill".
